At Sky-Learn, we pride ourselves on supporting our customers daily and embracing that connection’s value. Having that integrity and doing the right thing 100% of the time is a part of our culture.
As a part of that culture, we are also committed to giving back to the community. Each staff member is given the opportunity to support a charity of their choosing as a part of the Sky-Learn family. Each person shares why they chose that charity or the organization’s mission. Here are some wonderful non-profits we have worked with over the years. Please check back for future stories as well.

We work collaboratively with city shelters, local animal welfare organizations and individuals across the nation to coordinate transports. We provide our air services at no cost to the shelters and adoption centers we partner with. Since our inception, we have helped save the lives of over 23,000 dogs and cats with our transport flights.
Gas or groceries? What would you do if you had to choose? Seriously. It’s not an easy choice. One out of every five people living in Florida has to decide this every day. The circumstances differ, but the result is the same for families struggling to make it to their next paycheck or for seniors living on a fixed income. Nutritious food is hard to come by when your budget is limited. That’s why at Metropolitan Ministries, we receive more requests for food than any other service. Anyone hungry can be fed through targeted services to meet their needs.
Our strategic plan ensures everyone in need has access to healthy, nutritious food, and the resources they need to combat the effects of hunger – bringing about a hunger-free Tampa Bay. Every day, we get closer to ending hunger in our community, but you can take part in the action. Cultivate your role in fulfilling our mission of providing 143 million meals every year, nourishing self-ustainable lives and transforming our community’s wellbeing.

Our goal is to ensure that every child gets the food they need to grow up healthy, happy and strong. To do that successfully, we must understand the strengths and the needs of the communities we serve. We must also understand the root causes of childhood hunger – some families face more challenges than others, especially Black and Latino families.
